Building upon the need for new approaches to treat pancreatic cancer and the overall growing clinical acceptance of cryoablation, GI Cryo believes that FrostBite and GastroCS are poised to be a leading technology in gastroenterology

IMPACTING PANCREATIC CANCER
Pancreatic cancer and cysts are often diagnosed by Gastroenterologists using an EUS approach. The ultrasound at the tip of the endoscope permits the physician to visualize pancreatic tissue from inside the stomach. Using the working channel of the EUS scope, Biopsy Needles can be guided to take samples of tissue by accessing the pancreas through the stomach wall. This minimally-invasive method is commonly used to diagnose patients. FrostBite would be the 1st EUS compatible cryoablation tool in Gastroenterologist’s hands to treat tumors and tissues they currently biopsy.
